I have worn many hats in my life; including farm kid, carpenter, information systems/computer guru, substitute teacher, and librarian. I have also spent over half my lifetime seeking healing from my own Complex-PTSD (C-PTSD). As a young child, I learned an insecure (sometimes called anxious-avoidant or abivalent) attachment survival style, which created the filters through which I viewed the world; and led to years of heartache and struggle.
My self-help journey has led me down many roads, ultimately leading to the bright new world of #TraumaInformed coaching. Recognizing the power in what Trauma Recovery Coaches have to offer inspired me to become a Certified Trauma Recovery Coach (CTRC), and help guide others along their road to healing.
